A universe of Icy ice field in a cathedral… A polar bear alone, lost on an iceberg adrift… Dark nights without stars and full of questions… And then an accounter. A little Inuit elf comes forward and tames the bear.
DISCOVERY OF A NEW WORLD
EVOKING A FANTASTIC JOURNEY IN A GREAT CHINESE ICY UNIVERSE WAS THE CHALLENGE THAT LUC PETIT CREATION accepted and excecuted.

DÉCROCHER LA LUNE VI
La Louvière, BEL
For his 6th edition, Décrocher la Lune has dreamt big ! Remaining true to its tradition and as a real citizen project initiated by Franco Dragone, this urban opera wanted to involve a huge number of regional artists in this show. And this is how 650 volunteers, including 200 related to belonging to a permanent troupe called “lunaires”, have participated in 8 workshops and have collaborated with 200 professional artists and technicians to make this show happen.
A battlefield filled with dreams and emotions. This is how Luc PETIT and VO COMMUNICATION imagined INFERNO, the opening show for the commemorations of the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo.
Seeking inspiration from the poem «L’expiation» by Victor Hugo to tell the story and construct the set, he transported the 12 000 members of the audience, into the heart of the fighting’s inferno and the poetry of the show.
On a 170-metre long stage, 300 re-enactors, 50 horses and 250 performers recreated the Emperor’s final battle in an apocalyptic atmosphere.
In the presence of Prince Charles and the descendants of Napoleon, Wellington and Blücher, the Hougoumont Farm, strategic location that played a decisive role in the outcome of the Battle of Waterloo, was unveiled at the 200th anniversary commemorations.
TEMPORA, a company specialised in designing and creating exhibitions, called upon Luc PETIT to imagine a modern and innovative scenography.
With images projected on three huge mobile bas-reliefs, visitors discover and engage with the emotion of the events that took place in this symbolic place and how the farm withstood the French assaults.
Millenium, a huge laser mapping show, realized to make a century unforgettable, is a real technical prowess and a world premiere. In order to tell 1000 years of History and to discover the Saint-Jacques collegiate church of Liège through its architectural treasures, Luc PETIT and Michel TEHEUX imagined a grandiose and very visual patrimonial opera. During this show, the public was guided by a facetious little monkey, escaped from the medieval choir stalls.
NOËL DES CATHÉDRALES
The old christmas story rewritten by Michel TEHEUX comes to life in three cathedrals tranformed by the magic of lights, theater, projections and the Luc PETIT’s dreamlike staging.
NOEL DES CATHEDRALES, with its original concept, « rereads » an iconic story and « revisits » some major places of the architectural heritage. The beauty of the show, combined with the subtle and poetic alliance of these two reappropiations, enhance in a unique way these places where the magic comes alive for a few nights.
LA PARADE DE MONS
A surrealist show, The rock ‘n’ roll capital, The bus has started up, A dream become reality, these were the headlines in the press the day after the presentation of the Mons 2015 programme. A big crazy party, that’s how Luc PETIT wanted to present the European Capital of Culture.
And he dared do it! In front of an audience of 3000 guests and more than 200 journalists who had come for the press conference, a real ballet of TEC buses was set in motion. In a perfectly orchestrated choreography and set against a cloud of smoke, the buses came forward one after the other. Pirouetting in the hall of Lotto Mons Expo, they opened their doors to the artists and extras who revealed the areas given pride of place in 2015: theatre, exhibitions, multicultural exchanges, music, dance, fashion, photography and associations
GO TO WAR
As a tribute to the heroes of the Battle of the Ardennes, Luc Petit CREATION and TEMPORA created an ambitious show on the site of the Mardasson Memorial in Bastogne.
Covered in projection screens, the monument became the showcase for a pyrotechnical and video mapping show where archive images, photos and videos related the story of five Texas Aggies, students from Texas A&M University, who took part in the Second World War.
A show admired by more than 5 000 people of all ages, touched by the devotion and sacrifice of these heroes who bravely fought for the freedom of the Belgian people.
