Disney Cinema Parade
Disney chose Dragone to design and create the Disney Cinema Parade, a real challenge for the designer team (Franco Dragone, Luc Petit and Danielle Roy).
The result : a playful and poetic parade that paid homage to the Seventh Art by celebrating the great Disney classics (The Lion King, 101 Dalmatians, Mary Poppins…)
Composed of nine floats, the parade evoked the great stages of feature-film creation, from the conception of the scenario to the projection of the film starting from the clapperboard to the reel, the can of the film and the shooting.
Each float was introduced by bellboys wearing strange costumes and carrying accessories evoking the Disney films.
An unprecedented parade that, although modern, remained faithful to Disney’s imaginary world.
