In the presence of Prince Charles and the descendants of Napoleon, Wellington and Blücher, the Hougoumont farm, strategic location that played a decisive role in the outcome of the Battle of Waterloo, was unveiled at the Bicentennial commemorations. Key historical site and memorial for the English, the farmhouse has been completely restored and now offers a brand new multimedia space.
Tempora, a company specializing in the design and realization of exhibitions and installations, called upon Luc Petit to imagine a modern and innovative scenography. With images projected on three huge mobile reliefs, visitors discover and engage with the emotion of the events that took place in this symbolic place and how the farm withstood the French assaults.
Blending a cinematic approach with 3D technology and the most advanced video mapping, Luc Petit and Tempora have reinvented museography and offer a unique experience.
